Cydn has a network of Hotspots at 15 locations throughout Cape York. So when you are visiting or passing through these centres check for our service. Services are located at; Cooktown, Hope Vale, Wujal Wujal, Laura, Pormpuraaw, Napranum, Mapoon, New Mapoon, Weipa, Injinoo, Umagico, Lockhart River, Coen and Aurukun.
How do I access the cydn Hotspot service
Accessing the service is simple. Activate the browser on your laptop and when the cydn Hotspot displays simple instructions.
How do I pay for the cydn Hotspot service
Payment by approved credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or PayPal account) is the only accepted payment method. Customers must purchase a 24 hour period, no other time intervals are available. The cost per 24 hours is $19.80 GST inclusive. Your access to the cydn Hotspot service will expire 24 hours after you first log on. Unused time will be forfeited and will not be carried over to another 24 hour period. You may log in many times during your 24 hour period. Only one log in per account will be accepted.
All accepted credit cards are validated by PayPal and therefore outside the control and responsibility of the operators of the cydn Hotspot service.
Service Quality
Cape York is classified an Australian very remote region. Third party services are used as components of the cydn Hotspot service and whilst cydn takes all professional measures to manage and make the service available on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis it makes no representation that the service will be available, either consistently or continuously, during the period of your Hotspot service activation period.
The cydn Hotspot service use unregulated radio frequency spectrum shared between concurrent users. No guarantee on the bandwidth or throughput is provided and is a condition of your use and payment for the service.
No technical support is provided to those who pay to use the cydn Hotspot service. Your use of the service by transacting a credit card prepayment acknowledges and agrees to this service element.
