CYDN Partners
The key to success and a focus on better services at CYDN is a partnering strategy that acknowledges the valuable contribution partner organisations perform in the delivery of services to our customers.
By leveraging partner resources and expertise, customers benefit through innovation and flexibility of service delivery.
Organisational Partners
The Balkanu Cape York Development Corporation was formed in 1995 out of the wishes of traditional owners to have an organization to assist in economic development for the people of the Cape.
Balkanu identifies and incubates business projects to stimulate economic advancement. It is the CYDN sponsoring organisation.
Cape York Partnerships has the challenge to rebuild a social, cultural, spiritual and legal intolerance of abuse amongst Aboriginal people and rebuild the true Aboriginal care and respect of Aboriginal ancestors.
A number of programs are managed by Cape York Partnerships in pursuit of its mission.
Technology Partners
Cisco provides CYDN with more than high-technology equipment. There are plans to provide computer networking training and to establish a test laboratory in Cairns - the first such facility outside an Australian capital city.
Cisco Queensland regional manager, John Winters states that "Cisco is pleased to be selected by CYDN to be their networking technology partner. We believe this project will enrich lives and provide a catalyst for change in remote communities".
